Prime Minister Dr Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani expressed his condolences on the death of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir of the State of Qatar who died at the age of 74.
The Prime Minister praised Sheikh Hamad's prominent leadership, which would leave a long-lasting legacy in the history of Qatar. Mattis hailed Father Amir as the man who made his nation a leader in global diplomacy, energy, education and economic growth.
The PM sent his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amiri family and the people of Qatar over the death of Amir Qaboos.
